MAGA Hat Wearing Man Pushes Victim To 4 Train Tracks, NYPD Says
The man was helped off the tracks at Union Square by a good Samaritan, police said.
UNION SQUARE, NY – A man was shoved onto the tracks of the 4 train at Union Square by an assailant wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat who yelled racial slurs at him, the NYPD said. Good Samaritans helped him get back on the platform.
Officials said the man was punched Friday evening by someone who shouted ethnic epithets at him before pushing him to the tracks and then fleeing. The incident had started around 8 p.m. on the 4 train.
When the victim got off the train, the other man followed him and shoved him onto the track, police said.

Witnesses told police that the man was wearing the hat bearing the slogan used during Donald Trump's presidential campaign, dungaree overalls, a black jacket and jewelry around his neck.
The attacker fled on a Brooklyn-bound L train, the NYPD said.

The person who was pushed to the subway was taken to hospital for cuts to his head, according to police.
