Man Robs Union Square Target At Knifepoint, Remains At Large: Police

An unidentified man displayed a knife and stole merchandise from the Target store on Union Square on Wednesday morning, officials confirmed.

EAST VILLAGE, NY – An unidentified man robbed the Target at 10 Union Square East at knifepoint on Wednesday morning, a police spokesperson confirmed.

At about 8:25 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery inside Target. After displaying a knife and removing merchandise, the man fled the store to parts unknown, cops said. There were no injuries reported.

No description of the man is currently available. No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
