NYC Subway Hits And Kills Man At Union Square
A 25-year-old man was killed in the Union Square subway station early Sunday morning.

UNION SQUARE, NY – A 25-year-old man was struck and killed by a subway train in the Union Square station early on Sunday morning, police said.
The motorman of a uptown Q train reportedly saw someone trying to cross the tracks at about 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
"He tried to put the brakes on but unfortunately he struck the individual," the spokesman said.

The man suffered wounds to his head and torso, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The NYPD spokesman said no criminality is suspected, but the investigation remains ongoing.
Police have not released the man's name, but said they believe him to be a 25-year-old from Texas. Investigators found what they believe is the man's wallet in the subway station, according to police.
