Trains Delayed Downtown After Person 'In Need' At Delancey: MTA
F, M, and J trains are delayed Friday after a person "in need" at the Delancy Street/Essex Street Station earlier, MTA said.
LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — Multiple trains are delayed in Lower Manhattan after emergency services responded to a person in need at the Delancy Street/Essex Street Station, the MTA tweeted out on Friday morning.
Southbound M, J, and F trains are still delayed around 1 p.m., the MTA tweeted.
J/M trains are running with delays in both directions after EMS assisted someone in need at Delancey St-Essex St.

Police did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment and the MTA did not specify what happened to the person in need.
