EAST HAMPTON, NY β€” "Make East Hampton Litter Free." That's the theme of a townwide effort planned to tackle the ever-increasing litter issue in East Hampton, officials said.

East Hampton Town's litter action committee will be hosting its 2nd Annual "No-Fling Spring," a month-long series of coordinated events focused on building awareness and taking action to address the ever-increasing litter problem.

"Roadside litter is not only an aesthetic affront but ends up in our natural areas and precious water bodies, impacting many wildlife species. Our goal is to bring together and engage the entire town in a community effort to 'Make East Hampton Litter Free,'" officials said.
