Bonackers Celebrate Homecoming

The Hampton Cup stays in East Hampton, with Bonackers defeating the Southampton Mariners.

East Hampton High School celebrated Homecoming with a big win on the football field. 

The Bonackers defeated the Southampton Mariners 47-14 on Saturday night, keeping the Hampton Cup in East Hampton for the second year in a row. 

The day kicked off with an induction ceremony into the Bonac Hall of Fame. Congratulations to inductees Melanie Anderson, Lara DeSant-Siska, Sandy Fleishman-Richman, Tony Gilliam, John Gilmartin, Kimberly Hren, William Myrick, Mark Ryan Jr., Harry O'Rourke, Mylan Le, Eric Kaufman, Richard Cooney, Mike Burns, the 1965 football team, and the 1976-77 boys basketball team. 

During the day, various games took place around campus, including an Alumni Field Hockey Game. 

Before the football game, there was a BBQ and carnival, including a dunk tank where East Hampton High School Principal Adam Fine got soaked a few times. 

Thomas Nelson and Caoimhe McKeon were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.
