  1. Will JPX close forever? If the Town of East Hampton has its way JPX will be closed due to a β€œmountain of litigation.” The town's attorneys were asked to "begin the process of closing its Wainscott airport." (Subscription: Newsday)
  2. June 6, Mark Ripolone, 34, of Montauk, was arrested and charged with grand larceny for allegedly stealing more than $325,000 from the bank accounts of his customers and a payroll company over the course of three years, said Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney. Ripolone owned two companies, β€œ123 Delivery,” a food delivery service, and β€œHampton Management Group Inc." If you believe you have been victimized by Ripolone, call the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office at 631-853-5602. (Suffolk Daily News)
  3. The East End is getting a makeover in women's health at the Northwell Health’s Peconic Bay Medical Center. The project will take a few years to be realized, it will "involve a revamp of the women’s health department including general OB/GYN services, a fertility program, maternal fetal medicine programs, urogynecology and breast medicine."   4. Attention art buyers! Ric Michel Fine Art, Southampton Village gallery at 46 Jobs Lane, is where they say, contemporary art is the finest around. The summer lineup features two exhibitions of "40 artworks in a diverse array of subjects, styles and media" from new and longtime favorite artists. (Dan's Papers)
  5. The 32nd annual LI Pride celebration is taking place, in person, in Farmingdale this year. Long Island Pride parade, concert and festival will be held Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. in downtown Farmingdale. (News 12 Long Island)
