Here are the top stories in East Hampton today:

  1. Who's hiring in the Southampton area? There are many high paying jobs listed, even if you are looking for part-time work, it's all there in Patch. (East Hampton Patch)
  2. Consider a lovable new four-legged friend at Last Chance Animal Rescue, where Oscar the dog is waiting patiently. Or, meet ADDIE, a Pomeranian mix up for adoption. If cats are more your thing, there are several great cats available, too. (Patch)
  3. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation named Stony Brook University Hospital “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leaders” for 2022. "Stony Brook Medicine offers a range of specialized LGBTQ+ health services including a Talking About Gender support group for teens to explore gender identity and expression and learn ways to deal with stress." (Patch)
  4. The exhibit, "Two Centuries of Long Island Women Artists, 1800-2000," at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook, is dedicated to the memory of arts patroness and community activist Cindy M. Smith, a Stony Brook resident and long-time supporter of local artists. “She felt women artists faced greater obstacles to success than men and had to work harder to achieve recognition. She would have been first on line to see the exhibition if she were still alive,” said Warren Strugatch, her husband. (TBR News Media)
