Here are the top stories today in East Hampton:

  1. East Hampton area pets who need a home: Meet Onyx, Herman, Buster and more. One is cuter than the other, it will be so hard to pick which pet is going to give you unconditional love. Or you may consider fostering. Offering a needy animal a safe, comforting and supportive environment while she waits to be adopted, helps socialize a shelter pet to enhance her adoption potential. (East Hampton Patch)
  2. Who's hiring in East Hampton? This week's listing is long and diverse. If you are good working with people, there are so many more possibilities for you. You can search for more job openings in your area on the East Hampton Patch jobs board. (East Hampton Patch)
  3. Although the Guild Hall is closed for renovations until spring 2023, there is a plethora of programming planned off-site at popular local venues for summer 2022 events. So yes, Guild Hall summer 2022 programs are popping up across the Hamptons. (Dan's Papers)
  4. On April 29, an equestrian estate in East Hampton was sold in two deals for a combined $22.5 million. Approximately eight acres was sole to a private buyer for $12.7 million which included the 15,000-square-foot main house at 172 Cedar St., an agricultural reserve and an additional lot. Using the Community Preservation Fund, the Town of East Hampton purchased the remaining six lots and one reserve — approximately 12.37 acres — for $10 million. (Behind The Hedges)
