Mechanic Claims Civil Rights Violated by Town
Tom Ferriera has filed a 64-page lawsuit in federal court against East Hampton Town and several employees, according to an article on 'The East Hampton Star.'

An East Hampton mechanic is claiming town officials violated his civil rights in a 64-page lawsuit filed in federal court, according to an article in The East Hampton Star.
The lawsuit - filed on behalf of Navy Road resident Tom Ferriera - reportedly states that Ferriera was denied his Constitutional rights by the Town of East Hampton and several former employees, including the former town board and former Supervisor Bill McGintee.
According to the report, the lawsuit states over $100,000 in cars, car parts and tools were taken from Ferriera's property illegally, and he was asked to foot the bill for removal and subsequently denied due process in appealing the matter.
