Anika Petruccelli, a 7-year-old and second grade student at the John M. Marshall Elementary School, shared her artwork and her poem about springtime with the East Hampton Board of Education on April 16.
“It’s water lilies, and it’s based on the work of Van Gogh,” she told the audience. “And Monet,” she was reminded by her teacher, Catherine Dean.
