Students Collect 1,150 Donations for Food Pantry

Fifth-graders in the John M. Marshall Activities Club held a food drive just in time for Thanksgiving.

The John M. Marshall Activities Club, which is a rotating group of current fifth grade student leaders recently held a school-wide food drive for the local food pantry, collecting close to 1,150 canned and non-perishable goods.

The current students, Molly Cangelosi, Abigail McKenzie, Erin Cadger, Yennefer Rodriguez, Joel Coste and Marisol Padilla along with their teacher/advisor Ms. Amanda Poissant headed up the drive.

"The food drive was a tremendous success due to all grade levels and classes participating in helping out others in need.  A job well done by JMMES," said Jeff Tupper, a fifth grade teacher.
