2 $1 Million Powerball Tickets Sold in New York

Two second-prize winners in New York, but no one hit the jackpot, which now rises to $750 million for Wednesday's drawing.

Two second-prize winning tickets worth a $1 million each were sold in New York for Saturday night's Powerball drawing. No one hit the $625 million jackpot, though, so it rises to a massive $750 million for the Wednesday, March 27 drawing.

New York's second-prize winners were sold at Silver Six News Corp. located at 3290 Westchester Ave. in the Bronx and Park Slope Candy Shop located at 95 7th Ave. in Brooklyn.

There was also eight third-prize winning tickets worth $50,000 sold in New York for Saturday's drawing.

The winning numbers were: 24-25-52-60-66 and Powerball No. 5.

Powerball tickets are sold for $2 in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The jackpot starts at $40 million and increases after each drawing if there isn't a winner. The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292 million.
