2 Men Charged In November Nassau Murder: Police
Police say they shot a man and left him in the street late last year.
UNIONDALE, NY — Two men were arrested and charged for the shooting death of a man in Uniondale in November, Nassau County police said.
According to police, at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2021, officers were called to the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Lee Road in Uniondal for a report of a man lying in the road. The man had been shot, and was pronounced dead by a police medic.
Police later identified the man as Kyle Midtlyng, 24, of Hempstead.

On Saturday, police arrested Kyle Colthirst, 18, of Uniondale, and Tariq Pitaud, 18, of West Babylon, in connection with the murder.
They are both charged with second-degree murder, first-degree attempted robbery and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. They are scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
