2 Nassau Teens Charged In December Murder
Police say the two were involved in stabbing a 24-year-old man to death in early December.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police have charged two teens with the stabbing death of a man in Uniondale in December.
According to police, officers responded to a call at 3:52 a.m. on Dec. 5 for a man lying on the ground. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old man on the sidewalk in front of Fuego Picante Restaurante y Bar, located at 913 Front St. The man had multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
Police have not yet released the identity of the man.

On Jan. 6, police arrested Jose Alcivar Tuarez, 18, of Roosevelt, and a 17-year-old boy, also of Roosevelt, in connection with the murder. Police did not release the 17-year-old's name.
Tuarez is charged with second-degree gang assault, and the 17-year-old is charged with second-degree murder. They are both scheduled to be arraigned later today. in First District Court in Hempstead.
