5 Charged In Shootout Between Rival Gangs Near Nassau Club: Police
Police say the five men fired multiple shots at each other, hitting one person twice.

WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police today announced the arrest of five alleged gang members for a shootout that occurred in Westbury in April.
According to police, a shootout started between rival Long Beach and Hempstead gang members in the parking lot of the Park West Nightclub, located at 741 Merrick Ave. in Westbury, at 3:43 a.m. on April 25.
Police say multiple shots were fired, and one person was hit twice, once in the shoulder and once in the leg. They survived their injuries.

After an extensive investigation, police say they arrested five people for the shootout:
- Nharon Hicks, 33, of Long Beach, was arrested on June 11 and arraigned on June 14.
- Jordan Ayala, 26, of Long Beach, was arrested on June 12 and arraigned on June 14.
- Terrance Little, 25, of Hempstead, was arrested on Oct. 18 and arraigned on Oct. 19.
- Isaish Edwards, 25, of Hempstead, was arrested on Oct. 19 and arraigned on Oct. 20.
- Wilmer Villata, 20, of Uniondale, was arrested on Nov. 2 and was arraigned the same day.
Hicks and Ayala were charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree attempted assault, second-degree assault, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first- and second-degree criminal use of a firearm, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Little, Edwards and Villata were charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal use of a firearm, six counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree reckless endangerment.
Hicks and Jordan were both ordered held on bail of $1 million cash or $2 million bond, which was not posted. Little, Edwards and Villata were all remanded into custody.
