Crime Nearby: Pit Bull Attack, Drug Bust and Stolen Jewelry

• A Bellmore man was arrested on July 21 after he allegedly had his Pit Bull attack a woman.

• On July 11, two teens were arrested after they allegedly stole the tires and rims off of a car in North Merrick.
• Two people from Merrick were arrested and charged in Florida for possession of drugs which included hallucinogens and marijuana, according to an article in The Leader Herald.

• On July 11, assorted jewelry was stolen on Border Street in Hicksville. 
• On July 14, cellphones were stolen from Wireless Products in Hicksville. 
• On July 14, a wallet was stolen from Cantiague Park. 
• On July 15, a cell phone was stolen on Kuhl Avenue. 
• On July 15, 6 foot extension poles were stolen on Morgan Street.
