Crimes Nearby Part II: Cash Stolen From Eatery, Mother and Son Arrested

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

• Cash was reported stolen on April 3 from China Wok on Gardiners Avenue. 
  
• The front door glass of Hunan Dynasty on Hempstead Turnpike was broken on April 7 with no loss reported. 
• Assorted jewelry was stolen on Loring Road on April 8. 
• A Nassau County Police “Project 21” undercover operation in Levittown andHicksville resulted in four people being cited for selling alcohol to a minor on April 10. Fore more details, click here.

• A Merrick mother and son were arrested on April 8 and charged with criminal possession of heroin on Bellmore Avenue. For more details, click here. 
• An eighth grader that goes to Grand Avenue Middle School was approached by a stranger in a sedan on the morning of April 10, according to an email to parents from Principal Carlo A. Conte. For more details, click here.
