East Meadow Business Issued Stop Work Order

Notice states interior renovations were being completed without a permit.

The Hempstead Town Building Department has issued a stop work order to Loyalty Barber Shop in East Meadow. 

According to a notice on the shop's window, store owners were performing "interior renovations without a permit."

The barber shop is located between a locksmith and laundromat in the Hempstead Turnpike strip mall that also includes CVS and Uncle Giuseppe's.

State Farm Agent Alan Gafarian's office used to be located here. They relocated to another East Meadow location in December.
