East Meadow Man Found Dead in Pennsylvania Lake
An East Meadow man was found face down in a lake after apparently drowning Sunday night, according to several news reports.

An East Meadow man drowned in a lake in northeastern Pennsylvania over the holiday weekend, according to multiple reports.
Emergency crews were called to a home on E. Shore Drive near Paupackan Lake at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, according to the Associated Press. Responders found Gabriel Pierro, 29, face down in the lake, which is about 40 minutes east of Scranton in the town of Hawley, according to the report.
Pierro was reportedly pronounced dead before 11 p.m. Sunday.

While the exact circumstances surrounding Pierro’s death are unknown, he is believed to have drowned, according to WNEP. An autopsy has not yet been performed.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Pierro was a radio frequency technician and was an alumnus of SUNY Farmingdale and John Jay College.
