Free Hearing Tests Monday at EMPL

Free hearing tests will be offered at the East Meadow Public Library Monday.

Residents are encouraged to visit the library between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. No appointments are necessary.

Audiologists from the Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders at Adelphi University will perform the free tests. Deborah Senzer, Au.D. is the clinical coordinator for audiology.

The Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders provides services to all ages, from infancy through geriatrics, including speech, language and audiological services. The center has a fully equipped van that allows for speech and hearing screenings at locations throughout Long Island.

Professional staff are participating providers for the NYS Empire Plan (speech and audiological services) and for Medicare (audiological services), according to Adelphi University's website.
