McVey Students Donate $400 to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Students contributed to the organization's Pennies for Patients Fund.
McVey Elementary School students recently donated $400 to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients Fund.
Students presented the funds to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Representative Isai Fuentes.
He visited the school and discussed the mission of the organization to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of patient life.
As a reward for their generosity, students were granted a Pajama Day celebration.
