Nassau Man Sexually Propositioned Girl, 15, At Laundromat: Police
It happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the Roosevelt Laundromat on Nassau Road, Nassau police say.
ROOSEVELT, NY — A Roosevelt man sexually propositioned a 15-year-old girl on Friday, Nassau police said.
Officers received a 911 call for a man "inappropriately sexually propositioning" the girl at the Roosevelt Laundromat on Nassau Road at around 4:30 p.m., and they found Transito Giron, 55, and placed him under arrest without incident, according to police.
He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday, and his bail was set at $1 and a temporary order of protection was issued, according to online court records.
He is due back in court on Wednesday.
