Nassau Subway Robbed At Gunpoint

EAST MEADOW, NY — A Subway sandwich shop in East Meadow was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, and police are searching for the robber.

A man entered the Subway at 1866 Front St. at 8:12 p.m., police said. He approached the two employees in the store, pulled out a black handgun and demanded cash from the register.

One employee opened the register, and the other gave the man the cash inside, police said. The robber then fled west on Front Street.

The robber was about 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a blue face mask, white latex gloves, a blue hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with white stripes, and sneakers.
