'A Selfless Leader': East Meadow Star Student Athlete

EAST MEADOW, NY — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

He is a selfless individual who helps his teammates push the limit and succeed. He is always offering to help the team, inviting us to his house for team bonding, creating senior posters, and even giving directions to the bus driver so that everyone can arrive at the destination for our meet.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

He is a selfless leader that does several acts of kindness and brings joy to the team. He is an irreplaceable friend and captain of the Cross-country team
