Suspicious Package Causes Front Street Closure

Front Street was closed between East Meadow Avenue and Vincent Drive Sunday afternoon due to a suspicious package in a local apartment complex, according to Newsday.

Police received report of the suspicious package at 12:42 p.m. After the police investigation, the road reopened at 2:40 p.m.

The package turned out to be harmless.
