Trooper Injured, Hospitalized When Driver Hits Vehicle: State Police
The 17-year-old driver was under the influence at the time of Saturday night's crash, state police said.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A car crash on the Meadowbrook Parkway led to a state trooper's injury, state police said.
The Saturday night collision happened southbound by Exit M5 (Hempstead Turnpike).
A 17-year-old, according to state police, struck a trooper's car in the back. The trooper was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, state police said.
