FARMINGDALE, NY — Francesco's Pizza of Farmingdale has closed.

Francesco's was owned by Anthony Genova, who said the storefront was one he wanted five years before he opened. When that did not work out, he opened in Long Beach. He made the purchase when La Slice closed.
The pizzeria and Italian kitchen offered dozens of types of pizza, with pies including lasagna, Philly cheese steak, and Meat Lovers. Pies came in Neapolitan, Sicilian, cauliflower, and gluten free.
