Dragonfly Cares

We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! Posilico Materials will unveil its new off-loading equipment and layout of the plant at its material transfer depot Wednesday. The ribbon cutting is set for 4 p.m. The new rail siding and transfer depot will bring in the material that is needed to make asphalt by train rather than trucks. Posilico said the new system reduces dust and takes about 5,000 truck trips from local streets and highways. The changes should result in reduced net fuel consumption and less CO2 emissions.   The project has been done in conjunction with the Town of Babylon Industrial Development Association. Posillico has increased its storage capabilities from two silos erected in 1971 to 5 highly efficient storage silos that currently serve their customers. Additional technologies in manufacturing include a double barrel drum which maximizes opportunities for reclaimed asphalt, and the multi-nozzle device which reduces the required placement temperature while maintaining quality.
