3 People Sought For Beating Up Man During Nassau Robbery: Police

The incident happened Monday evening, police said.

CEDARHURST, NY — Three people are sought for attempting to rob a 68-year-old man in Cedarhurst on Monday evening, police said.

The victim had parked his vehicle and was walking southbound on Bayview Avenue when he was approached by three people, who demanded his car keys, police said.

When he refused to hand over the keys, a woman struck the victim in the back multiple times. As the victim began yelling for help, the three people fled eastbound on Monroe Street, authorities said.
