$5,700 Necklace Stolen From Nassau Jewelry Store: Police
Two men were arrested for grand larceny, police said.
LAWRENCE, NY — Two men were arrested for stealing a necklace from a Lawrence jewelry store on Sunday afternoon worth more than $5,000, police said.
After canvassing the area, Demari Harvey, 21, of Queens, was taken into custody. Further investigating led to Kymani Blake, 20, of Queens, also being arrested, police said.
They fled the Kay Jewelers on Rockaway Turnpike with the necklace worth approximately $5,700, authorities said.

Harvey and Blake are each charged with third-degree grand larceny and were scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, police said.
