Authorities Locate Missing Inwood Boy: Police
The 14-year-old had been seen leaving his home at 2 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Just before 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, police said he was found.
INWOOD, NY. — The search for a missing Inwood 14-year-old proved successful Wednesday, as Nassau County police reported that the boy had been found in an announcement just before 1:15 p.m.
Nassau County police said 14-year-old Angel Garcia had last been seen leaving his home at 2 a.m. Tuesday, and described Garcia as a Hispanic boy with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5-feet, 8-inches, weighing 150 lbs. His destination was unknown at the time, police said.
Police encouraged anyone with information regarding Garcia’s whereabouts to contact the missing persons’ squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911, in a Tuesday announcement.

As of Wednesday afternoon, however, Garcia had been found, police said.
