1. Jerry Barmash tells us that women's basketball hall-of-famer Nancy Lieberman is donating five playground courts across Nassau County. The first so-called "Dream Court" opened Thursday at Inwood Park. North Woodmere Park and Wantagh Park are next and possibly Eisenhower Park, Nickerson Beach and the Five Towns Community Center. 2. Patch also reports that a man was rescued from a submerged vehicle at the Bay Park boat launch in East Rockaway on Thursday night. The 66-year-old male victim was found screaming for help and clinging onto the edge of the dock, but did not need medical attention after he was pulled from the water. (Patch)
