1. Matthew Ferremi has the details on Hewlett-Woodmere's school vote: The budget passed, and the following candidates were elected to the Board of Education: Judy Menashe, Francois Tenenbaum and Jon Altus were elected to three-year terms. Shari Amitrano will serve two years and Debra Sheinin one. The library budget also passsed. (LI Herald)

2. Jeff Bessen reports on the results of Lawrence Schools Tuesday's vote: the budget passed, two incumbents were reelected, Heshy Blachorsky and Abel Feldhamer. Propositions 3,4 and 5 were approved.
