Fourth Precinct Report, July 19-26

Police report an arrest and incidents of theft, damage and identity theft.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest

  • Maurielle Lubin, 33, of North Woodmere, was arrested on July 24 and charged with the theft of various merchandise valued at $274.99 at in North Woodmere. Police said Lubin concealed the items in a bag.

  • A bicycle was removed from the yard of a residence on Neptune Avenue in Woodmere, a complainant reported to police on July 10.
  • An unknown suspect(s) threw a Dunkin Donuts cup filled with sand through the front window of a residence located on Rochester Avenue in East Atlantic Beach, a complainant reported to police on July 19.
  • Unauthorized purchases were made using the victim’s account, they reported to police on July 19.
  • An unknown person(s) attempted to open a credit account using the victim's identity, they reported to police on July 19.

  • A prescription pad and GPS unit were taken from the inside of a vehicle that was parked on Bryant Street in Woodmere, a complainant reported to police on July 24.
  • An unknown suspect(s) slashed two tires on a vehicle that was parked on Trenton Avenue in East Atlantic Beach, a complainant reported to police on July 24.
