VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man was struck and killed by in a hit-and-run crash in Valley Stream on Monday night, police said. Officers responded to Broadway near Ash Street for a man, in his 40s, in the roadway bleeding with severe head trauma, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is being sought by police. Anyone with information is asked to call the Nassau County Police Department's Homicide Squad at 516-573-7788.
