Nassau Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint
Police are searching for the man, who they say made off with cash after threatening a clerk.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — Nassau County police are looking for a man who robbed a Valley Stream gas station at gunpoint Sunday night.
According to police, the man entered the BP station at 85 N. Central Ave. at 9:06 p.m. He pointed a handgun at a clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave him money from the register, and the man fled on foot south on N. Central Avenue.
The clerk was the only one in the store at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.

Police say the robber was a black man, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants, grey gloves and a black face mask.
Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
