  1. News 12 Long Island has a story on a bus shortage that's affecting students at six private schools in Westbury. Parents found out at the last minute that they need to provide their own transportation. (News 12)
  2. Jeff Bessen alerts residents that Cedarhurst village is repaving Washington Avenue between West Broadway and the Long Island Rail Road tracks, and 6th Avenue between Washington and Madison avenues today, Saturday and next Monday, the 13th. The streets will be closed from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and any parked vehicles will be towed. (LI Herald)
  3. News 12 also has footage from a Copiague private park showing swastika graffiti on a bench. The homeowners in the Great South Bay Estates homeowners association said they would remove the hate symbol. (News 12)
  4. The Long Island Press has a roundup of 9/11 memorial services planned for the 20th anniversary this Saturday. Point Lookout and Tobay Beach will both have a ceremony. (Long Island Press)
