Burglar Steals Electronics From Flushing Senior Center: NYPD

The man stole $3,100 worth of laptops, cell phones, tablets and cash, cops say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly snuck into a senior center in Flushing and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics and cash.

The man snuck into the Nan Shan Senior Center on 39th Avenue near Main Street and stole $3,100 in laptops, cell phones, tablets and money on Jan. 18 at around 2:30 a.m., police told Patch.

He fled the senior center in an unknown direction, police said.

On Thursday, the NYPD released photos of the suspect, who cops said was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a gray hat and blue jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
