Woman's Dead Body Found Floating In Flushing Creek: NYPD
The body, found Friday, was the second in two days to be discovered in waters near Flushing and College Point, police said.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Police are investigating the death of a woman found floating in the Flushing Creek on Friday morning.
Officers pulled the woman from the creek after receiving a 911 call at about 10 a.m. of a body in the waters near College Point Boulevard and 34th Avenue, authorities said.
NYPD Harbor Unit officers brought the woman to shore, where medics pronounced her dead. Her identity and age are unknown, police said.

A medical examiner will determine the woman's cause of death.
The woman's body was the second in as many days be discovered in waters off Flushing and College Point. A man estimated to be in his forties was found dead in Powell Cove near the College Point Yacht Club on Thursday, police said.
