112th's Night Out Against Crime, Ballroom Dancing Highlight Week in Forest Hills

Monday

The Forest Hills Library will offer a ballroom dancing class from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. The program will provide lessons for beginners as well as training for more advanced students.

Tuesday

The 112th Precinct will hold its annual Night Out Against Crime from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at MacDonald Park. It will include food, games, raffles, music and crime prevention information.

Thursday

The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., will offer a trip to the Henry Kaufman Campgrounds in Pearl River. Attendees will be able to take part in nature programs, swim, make crafts and play Bingo. The day-long program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. To register, call 718-268-5011, ext. 160.

Friday

Local residents can pay $10 for unlimited rides on the Forest Park Carousel as part of a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Disease. The event, which will also include a magic show and face painting, begins at 6:30 p.m.
