Austin Street Consignment Store Closing, Locksmith Moves

An Austin Street-based consignment clothing store will close at the end of the month, while a locksmith on the commercial strip has relocated.

Second Time Around, located at 70-49 Austin St., will shut its doors on Jan. 31. An employee at the consigner said the shop had opened about a year-and-a-half ago.

There are 10 Second Time Around locations in Manhattan as well as two others on Long Island.

Also, ABCO Locksmith has moved out of its locale at 70-54 Austin St. and into a new spot on Continental Avenue next door to Game Stop.
