Bloom Botanical Bistro Opens Its Doors On Metropolitan Avenue

The eatery will launch its soft opening on Tuesday, July 18, at 6 p.m.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A restaurant catering to both vegans and meat lovers in Queens officially will open for business on Metropolitan Avenue next week.

Bloom Botanical Garden will launch its soft opening on Tuesday, July 18, at 6 p.m. The New American eatery is located at 103-19 Metropolitan Ave.

The eatery is the latest from the owner of several Forest Hills restaurants, Alfred Vitsentzos, including the rock-and-roll-themed venue Dylan's and the Greek restaurant Nick's Bistro. The pub-styled Dylan's opened in 2020, while Nick's Bistro dates back to 2009.

Bloom Botanical Garden will offer menu items including pasta, lobster, veggie burgers, and salmon, as well as cocktails. The opening date was set for an earlier date, but it was pushed back a week.

"We truly apologize but we have been delayed by something out of our control and it’s very important to us that we open Bloom correctly, so that we can provide you the utmost dining experience," reads an Instagram post by the eatery.
