'Blue Bloods' TV Show To Film In Forest Hills Wednesday: City

The cast and crew of the hit CBS cop drama will film near Austin Street Wednesday, leaving some neighborhood parking off limits.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A stretch of Forest Hills will be overrun with law enforcement officials this week.

"Blue Bloods," a hit CBS cop drama, is filming off of Austin Street Wednesday, a spokesperson with the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment confirmed with Patch.

The cast will be using both 72nd Road and 72nd Avenue between Queens Boulevard and Austin Street for the shoot, the spokesperson said, with additional filming taking place on Loubet Street between 68th and 69th avenues.

Neighbors should expect "intermittent traffic control" on Loubet Street during filming, as well as some parking restrictions on half of the eastern side of 72nd Avenue and the entire western side of 72nd Road, the city entertainment agency said.

"Blue Bloods" is currently at the tail end of its 12th season, starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, and others as NYC law enforcement officials

A CBS representative did not immediately respond to Patch's inquiry as to whether or not this week's filming is connected to the current season or an upcoming season.

The show hasn't been publicly renewed for a 13th season yet.
