Central Queens Y to Kick Off Summer Camp's Second Session on July 25
Attendees will spend days at Long Island campground and older participants will go on day trips.

Forest Hills’ Central Queens Y will kick off the second session of its summer Pioneer Day Camp on Thursday.
The program, which is aimed at students in kindergarten through fifth grade, will run from July 25 to Aug. 17.
Campers will spend the day at a 375-acre campground on Long Island that has a swimming pool, woodlands, athletic facilities, shelters, shaded campfire areas and nature trails.

Fourth and fifth grade participants will take at least two trips per week to sporting events, amusement parks, sightseeing or other local towns.
Other upcoming programs at the Y include a drama workshop from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 that is $8 for members and $10 for non-members as well as a health and mini fitness camp from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 26 to 30.
