Coronavirus Testing Site For Families Opens In Forest Hills

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A private pediatric urgent care center in Forest Hills is starting to offer testing for the new coronavirus.

PM Pediatrics, located at 70-20 Austin St., will offer on-site testing for eligible patients under 26 and other members of their household, according to a news release.

While the tests themselves are free with insurance, those who wish to get a test have to first be evaluated by someone at the clinic or via a tele-medicine app. Those appointments cost $65 without insurance, a spokesperson said.

Test results are available within two to four days, according to the news release.

PM Pediatrics purchased the coronavirus tests from private companies, the spokesperson said.
