FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Drew Barrymore recognized a Forest Hills nurse manager for doing good in Queens by gifting her a dream home renovation.

On a Nov. 19th segment of "Drew-gooders" — a section of Barrymore's "optimistic" morning talk show dedicated to do-gooders — the actor-turned-host unveiled a home makeover that she designed for Victoria Osei, an assistant nurse manager at LIJ Forest Hills. QNS was first to report this story.

Osei, who regularly volunteers with her church and an Elmhurst homeless shelter on top of helping to manage LIJ Forest Hills' hospice unit, knew that the renovation was coming, but didn't expect to see Barrymore at her home during the big reveal.

"Oh my god is that you," Osei screamed in excitement, giving Barrymore a hug before the pair walked into her Uniondale home to look at the renovations.

The dream home makeover took about three weeks and entailed tearing down a wall to construct an open-concept kitchen — filled with products from Barrymore's own lifestyle brand — and replacing all the furniture in the living room and dining room.

“Sometimes I look at it and say, ‘Is this real? What did I do to deserve all of this?’” Osei told QNS. “I am truly grateful and humbled by it."
