FOREST HILLS
- Take an evening ride on the Forest Park Carousel. The event will be a fundraiser to fight Alzheimer’s Disease. Cost is $10 for unlimited rides or $3 for a single ride. The carousel is located at Woodhaven Blvd. and Forest Park Drive.

· Gran Bwa Culture Presents the 23rd Annual Bwa Kay Iman Celebration Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m at Prospect Park.

Family Fun
· On Aug. 9, the Brooklyn Movement Center is hosting its annual Movement Summer BBQ from 4-8 p.m. at Akwaaba Mansion (347 MacDonough Street). The BBQ will also feature BMC membership activities related to the education, food justice and anti-street harassment campaigns. While there is no speaking program, elected officials and community leaders will be acknowledged.
