FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A nonprofit dance group was granted over $2,000 to fund a project that helps people living with dementia in Forest Hills.
DanceStream Projects received $2,500 from the arts council of Flushing Town Hall to support the project “Stories in the Moment: Our Portraits.”
The project will connect city artists with people living with dementia in Forest Hills to create a dance-on-film portrait that features the stories of this community.

The nonprofit joins 39 other groups that received the same amount of funds throughout Queens.
