Forest Hills Festival Hits Austin Street In June
The over two decades-old Forest Hills Festival is slated to take place on Austin Street, between 69th Road to 72nd Road, on June 11.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A festival filled with games, music, and food from local Forest Hills vendors is coming to Austin Street next month.
The over two-decades-old Forest Hills Festival is slated to take place on Austin Street, between 69th Road to 72nd Road, on June 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year, the soft rock band Yacht Lobsters will perform on Restaurant Row. The event is sponsored by the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce.

"I always look forward to a fantastic community day where our businesses are highlighted and to all the visitors the festival brings to Forest Hills," said Leslie Brown, President of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce.
The festival joins a batch of other events happening in Forest Hills this spring. The Compost Collective recently hosted a local market on Yellowstone Boulevard, bringing together small businesses and entertainers to the community.

Forest Hills Stadium is also celebrating its 100th anniversary with headliners and festivals expected to fill the venue. The stadium is prepping for concerts including The Strokes, Dave Matthews Band, and LCD Soundsystem.
The hip-hop festival Rock The Bells and 88rising's Head in the Clouds festival are also coming to the venue.
